In order to identify the students who will flourish and succeed in our unique school environment, our admissions process is highly selective. Because we emphasize individualized learning through immersion in global exploration, we limit our student body to around 45 students.
Candidates for admission to THINK Global School should complete the following steps:
Submit an Inquiry
Interested applicants for the 13/14 and 14/15 school years should begin the application process by clicking the link below and providing the required inquiry information. The Admissions Office will respond to all inquiries within one week.
Complete the Online Application
After completing the inquiry form, you will receive a personal login and password to access our online application system. All application components are submitted electronically. You can save your application in-progress and continue later if you do not finish in one session. You will be asked to provide:
- Answers to the student questionnaire and an essay question
- Your transcripts or report cards from the last two years
- A graded English class writing assignment, including teacher comments
- A media project of your choice
- Answers to the parent questionnaire (to be completed by parents)
You should download and arrange for the following supplementary forms to be submitted directly to TGS on your behalf:
- Math Teacher Recommendation Form*
- English Teacher Recommendation Form*
- Personal Recommendation Form
- Scholarship Application Form, if applicable (to be completed by parents)
If applicable, all documents must be translated into English before they are submitted.
Application Review and Interviews
When you complete the online application and all your supplementary forms are emailed to TGS, your application will be officially complete, and the Admissions Committee review begins.
Our goal is to build a diverse and cohesive group of outstanding young people who are ready to begin an incredible journey of intellectual and personal development together. We carefully review each application to assess if you are right for TGS—and if TGS is right for you.
You will be invited to interview with various members of the TGS Admissions Committee via Skype, including: the Director of Admissions, the Head of School, a TGS teacher, and the ResLIFE Director.
Supplemental Information
Finalist candidates will be asked to complete diagnostic assessments after their interviews. Assessment areas may include: emotional intelligence, academic aptitude, and/or English proficiency.
*Home school candidates are required to provide two additional Personal Recommendation Forms in lieu of Math & English Teacher Recommendations. These forms should be completed by adults with whom you have a strong relationship, but not your parents.
