THINK Global School is an IB-authorized traveling high school. Every year, our school travels to three international cities to explore, study and learn.
If you went back 500 years in a time machine, the first thing you’d notice is that little has changed on the 14 islands and 57 bridges known as Stockholm. Candy-colored buildings and cobbled lanes, 17th century ships and 16th century churches that echo the works of Bach are preserved in time along with an ancient right-to-roam custom that ensures the public’s right to enjoy nature and the great outdoors which comprises 9/10 of the country.
With high-speed Internet used by nearly every citizen from young to old, eco-initiatives to protect the surrounding waterways of Mälaren Bay and plans to build the world’s largest wind farm, students quickly understood why Stockholm is known as the World’s Most Intelligent City and the First European Green Capital.
Young Business Creatives (YBC) occupies the fourth and fifth floors of the M7 “knowledge mall,” a sleek office building in the Sickla neighborhood. This favorable host location placed THINK Global School students just minutes from Stockholm’s city center. YBC offers both national and international curriculum programs to age 16-19 “upper secondary” students, including an IB Diploma track. As the school’s name suggests, its students are encouraged to be entrepreneurs, innovators, and digital communicators. This unique blend of business and academic culture also shapes the school’s self-assessment and measurement system, which is based on the Balanced Scorecard methodology favored by top management consultants.
