THINK Global School is an IB-authorized traveling high school. Every year, our school travels to three international cities to explore, study and learn.
Locations
Known for its renowned architectural landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney also provides easy access to the Blue Mountains and rainforests that are just as popular as its more than 150 metropolitan beaches.
A city best experienced outside, our students were able to undertake a multi-stage adventure that began with a rainforest hike through an ancient volcano crater and concluded with a scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef. Australia’s first and largest city has clearly come a long way since its less than glamorous prison camp beginnings.
MLC School is an independent day school for girls located in Burwood, one of Sydney’s most vibrant and culturally diverse suburbs. Founded in 1886 as the Methodist Ladies College, MLC is an IB World School that teaches students all the way from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. The school is still parochial, belonging now to the Uniting Church of Australia. The girls are divided into color-themed “houses” with names borrowed from the Australian Aboriginal language. THINK Global School students were especially impressed by MLC’s aquatic center, designed by one of the country’s finest architects.
