Future Years

In choosing locations, we conduct intensive research on each city: its history, culture, sights of interest, and surrounding environment, its safety and stability, its grasp of digital technology, and of course its accessibility. We search for like-minded host schools and opportunities for long-term partnerships that make us feel like we’re part of a city - not spectators, and certainly not tourists. Our goal is to take our students around the world in the service of learning and growth, not simply to collect another stamp in their passports or another photo for their Facebook page.

The memories our students create and the life-lessons they learn aren’t typical, so we don’t limit ourselves to typical study abroad destinations. We want our students to explore the most vibrant, diverse, and important cities in the world, but sometimes this leads us to choices that are less than obvious, cities that have subtle charm, hidden potential, or underappreciated influence. We’re also mindful of the rapid pace of current events; changes that once took a lifetime or a generation can now remake a city in years or even months.

No matter where we study, our host city will offer something unique that allows us to think globally in a new way - something relevant to our school, our studies, our dreams - something worth blogging home about.
