Mike Clare, one of our favourite bus drivers in Sydney, recently sent this note along by e-mail. We think it’s worth sharing here:
To all the TGS crew,
It has been nothing but a pleasure to drive you guys whilst on your Sydney leg of your planetary classroom.
I drive alot of school kids around & never have I met such a nice, polite & most of all intelligent bunch of kids (& teachers!!!).
I was intrigued from the beginning on what this is all about & have learnt through my experience of you, that it’s about ushering in a new era of citizens of earth. I see you guys as the ambassadors of the future. Truly global citizens! Not bound by race or colour or language.
I myself spend alot of time contemplating a new earth with all the wars & greed that’s going on these days & having met you has renewed my faith that the future is bright, so bright in fact I gotta wear shades. 🙂
I could ramble on forever but this net kiosk at the airport is about to run out of cred so I wish you all the best on all your travels & am sorry not to have had the chance to say goodbye properly. You never know, we may bump into each other again some day.
