Read MoreOur two week intersession came and went, but one thing is for certain: the students and staff members that had the privilege to visit this tiny picturesque kingdom rank the experience as one of the most unique and absorbing of their lives. Bhutan, which is the birthplace and home to three of our students, allowed us a rare glimpse into a country that vigorously fights to remain unspoiled. This preservation of the environment and attention to its citizens’ well-being were at the core of our trip as we set out to learn more about the Bhutanese concept of Gross National Happiness (GNH).
Throughout our travels, both students and staff took advantage of the technology at their fingertips, documenting their journeys through journals, photography and video. Over the next month as video is edited, photos are cropped and thoughts are committed to blogs, we look forward to sharing these memories with you.
