What Is Included in
THINK Global School Tuition?

Tuition at THINK Global School is designed to support a fully accredited, two-year journey across eight countries. Because students learn across multiple cultures, communities, and environments, tuition is structured to cover nearly every aspect of the experience. 

At THINK Global School, tuition covers far more than an ordinary education: it funds a life lived intentionally on the move. Because our students do not sit still in a world that needs changing, we have structured our fees to encompass nearly every aspect of this immersive, eight-term passage. 

The full tuition for one academic year at THINK Global School is USD $94,050, though given our sliding-scale tuition model, all families pay a tuition based on their demonstrated financial need.

Tuition directly supports these foundational elements:

• Faculty and Staff Support: Instruction and personal mentorship from a global team of educators and counselors who live and travel alongside students throughout the journey.
• Housing and Meals: All community living accommodations and daily meals while on program, where students share everything from rooms to field research.
• Travel and Learning Modules: All ground transportation, excursions, and place-based academic modules, including activities like mapping coral health in Australia or exploring design in Japan.
• Technology and Resources: Essential learning tools, including a MacBook Air and an iPhone with a global data plan, alongside individual stipends for project-based learning.
• Medical and Travel Insurance: Comprehensive health and emergency travel insurance to protect students everywhere we travel.

What Expenses Are Not Covered
by THINK Global School Tuition?

THINK Global School tuition does not cover independent flights to and from the start of each term, though these flight costs are considered during the financial aid review process. While global housing, meals, and academic modules are comprehensively included, families remain independently responsible for passport fees, visas, and personal spending money.

How Does Sliding-Scale Tuition Work for Different Family Incomes?

To maintain institutional sustainability while remaining fiercely committed to equity, TGS operates under a need-aware admissions framework. While all applicants are evaluated on the exact same rubrics throughout the admissions process, a family’s financial need is taken into consideration during the final stages of cohort assembly to ensure that socioeconomic diversity is reflected in the incoming cohort of students. 

However, once a student is successfully offered a spot at TGS, the institution makes an absolute commitment to covering 100% of the family’s demonstrated financial need. This need is covered through grants that are awarded to students for the duration of their time as a student in good standing at TGS. 

TGS ensures that there is no gap between what a family is objectively determined capable of paying and the total cost of attendance, ensuring that accepted families are fully supported.

What Is the Financial Aid Application Process?

Families seeking financial aid complete a financial aid application and submit supporting financial documentation during the admissions process.

To guarantee absolute equity and impartiality across a global pool of international applicants, TGS uses independent, third-party assessors who are experts in evaluating the financial circumstances of the families of international private school applicants. This assessment process analyzes a multi-dimensional matrix of household data to determine a fair and realistic financial contribution. 

If a student is extended an official offer of admission to TGS, they will be offered a customized financial aid package aligned with these exact findings.

Because we receive applications from families around the world each year, available financial aid funding is limited.

Financial aid is part of Step 3 of the application process. If a student makes it through Steps 1 and 2 of the admissions process, we will send them and their family all the information necessary to complete their financial aid application.

Does applying for financial aid affect admission decisions?

Financial aid and admissions are reviewed as separate parts of the application process. Applicants are evaluated based on their fit for the THINK Global School community and program. All accepted students who have applied for financial aid will be offered grant-based scholarships that represent 100% of the family’s demonstrated need as determined by their financial aid evaluation.
