1) Hi Nada, can you tell us what you've been up to since graduating from THINK Global School in 2022? Since graduating in 2022, I've been pursuing a passion I found while at TGS, sustainability, and I am currently majoring in engineering in renewable energy systems at Al Akhawayn University, in Ifrane, Morocco. But there is way more than that! I've had a chance also to explore the world of...

The proverb “time flies when you are having fun” certainly seems to hold some weight here at THINK Global School. It seems like only yesterday that we were announcing our plans for India, Tanzania and Japan, and maybe a day before that we were sharing the news regarding Argentina, Bhutan and America. Now, as we prepare to send our first graduating class out into the world, we are excited to share our travel plans for the upcoming school year. This year, the announcement of our locations is accompanied by one regarding the duration of our time spent in each country: the 2014-15 school year will move from two terms and a two-week intersession to three terms, each roughly equivalent in length, and no intersession.
Where are we headed, you might ask? Without further ado:
Term 1: New Zealand
Term 2: Turkey

Term 3: Greece
Our host schools during these terms will be located in Auckland, Istanbul and Athens, respectively.
In addition to returning to a three-term academic calendar, we also plan on maximizing our time in each location by placing a greater emphasis on experiential learning, and endless opportunities for lessons outside of the classroom abound in each of these amazing countries. As we familiarize ourselves with these locations and make acquaintances on the ground, we are exploring possibilities that would allow us to: discuss the effects of global warming during a hike across New Zealand’s Franz Josef glacier; engage in energetic debates reminiscent of the world’s most renowned philosophers at Greece’s ancient Parthenon; begin to make sense of Turkey’s recognition as the cradle of civilization during an exploration of Istanbul’s archeological park. These hands-on encounters — we use the term weXplore — keep our students physically engaged while adding new dimensions to their learning experience.
Other potential weXplore activities for 2014-15 include:
