Grethe F. Rostbøll, MA, has been a staple of the Danish political, art, and literature scenes spanning the last thirty years. Her books about politics, social sciences and language have been published in multiple languages, with much praise being heaped on her writings covering the Danish writer, Karen Blixen. Grethe was most recently the Chair of the Danish Center for Culture and Development (DCCD) between 2002-2011. Before her time as chair, Grethe served as a Minister of Culture during the Schlüter Administration in 1990-1993 and member of the the Danish Parliament for the Conservative People’s Party in 1996-1998. On top of her duties as Chair of the DCCD, Grethe also serves as a trustee in the Danish-Egyptian Dialogue Institute, and as the Vice President of the Scandinavian-Japanese Sasakawa Foundation.
