About Yong Zhao
Yong Zhao is currently the Presidential Chair and Associate Dean for Global and Online Education, University of Oregon, as well as the director of the Center for Advanced Technology in Education (CATE). Zhao is a fellow of the International Academy for Education and has published over 20 books, including Catching Up or Leading the Way: American Education in the Age of Globalization and the Handbook of Asian Education. He speaks around the world on educational issues, particularly on those related to globalization and education, creativity, global competitiveness, educational reforms, and educational technology.
