Because diversity is at the core of our values, we don’t expect all families to cover student expenses at the same level. Instead, we base each student’s contribution on their family’s financial situation. During the admissions process, families are asked to submit a detailed application with supporting financial documentation, which helps us determine need.
How Much Might You Pay?
When determining tuition for each student, we look at family income, assets, debts, and geographic standards of living before calculating a number that works for everyone.
The Cost of a Global Education
THINK Global School is not a typical school, and we don’t have typical expenses. In addition to the costs for tuition, room, and board, we also cover educational excursions, technology, international health insurance, a low faculty-to-student ratio, and extensive support staff.
The total cost for a student to attend THINK Global School is $79,000, although the amount paid per family varies based on our sliding-scale tuition. Here’s how those costs break down:
- Education & Resources: $35,000
- Room & Board: $25,000
- Excursions: $15,000
- Technology & Equipment: $4,000

The THINK Global Foundation
THINK Global School is a 501(c)3-status not-for-profit organization. Expenses not covered by student tuition are paid for by grants from The THINK Global Foundation, a private foundation set up by founder Joann McPike to provide long-term funding for the school and ensure broad economic diversity within the student body.
