1) Hi Nada, can you tell us what you've been up to since graduating from THINK Global School in 2022? Since graduating in 2022, I've been pursuing a passion I found while at TGS, sustainability, and I am currently majoring in engineering in renewable energy systems at Al Akhawayn University, in Ifrane, Morocco. Read More1) How has being part of a diverse and international community influenced your understanding of different cultures and perspectives?
I first applied to TGS to seek an escape from my traditional learning, hoping for a more engaging educational environment and, of course, the appeal of traveling the world. In these past two years, TGS has given me that and so much more.
Enrolling in TGS granted me the privilege of living a dream many only fantasize about – the dream of traveling. Beyond filling the pages of my passport, it has been the time spent living amongst an Aboriginal Family in Cairns, learning about Oman’s coral reefs, and the comfort I found in conversations with my friends that have made these journeys unique while teaching me the skill of adapting to diverse cultures and perspectives.
2) In what ways has your perception of traditional education changed since attending THINK Global School?
My perception of education underwent a shift at TGS. I rediscovered my passion for learning through projects such as designing a wellness app or exploring beauty philosophy through makeup, letting me shape my education while making it enjoyable.
3) What specific aspect of your TGS experience are you most grateful for and why?”
One thing I will always be grateful to TGS for is the community I was able to be a part of. In these past two years, I’ve found people with whom I share a bond that goes beyond friendship, from the shopping sprees and the late-night conversations to the moments of vulnerability. From our initial climb up that mountain during ROP, I never imagined these faces would become people I consider family. But I am beyond grateful that they are.
