Hi Dhruv, can you tell us a bit about yourself?  I was born in a small town in India and spent my life before TGS growing up in Lesotho, Botswana, India, and Zambia.  Two years into my TGS journey, I now find it slightly ironic that I decided to apply amidst the chaos of COVID-19. I grew up as a curious child, constantly questioning why things are the way they...

Hi Paula, can you tell us what you've been up to since graduating in 2018? Right after graduation, I took a short backpacking trip around Europe. I knew I would start university in September and wanted to squeeze in one last travel adventure. It was interesting to experience the transition from "school travelling," where things were usually planned for us and safety was a priority, to "solo travelling," where nobody...

1) Hi Mehdia, can you tell us a bit about yourself? Hi, I'm a space enthusiast, and to be honest, I think that's my entire personality. I'm a TGS-er and the founder of Afghan Youth Empowerment Camps. Then in 2019, I started...

Sabah is playing the role of a “classroom” for 34 international students as they spend two months learning about the State’s diversity and acquiring fresh experiences that they may incorporate into their lives back home. The students, aged between 15 and 17, are from the New York-based Think Global School – the world’s first traveling high school. These are all questions being faced by educators and students as our world gains a more global context.  For a rare few who are lucky enough to have talented and equally curious teachers, this might happen in the confines of the classroom. But...

Hi Andy, tell us a bit about yourself. I grew up in the beautiful industrial city of Birmingham, and after a career in mental health work and various bits and bobs, I qualified to become a teacher.
