I was born and raised in London, United Kingdom. I moved to New York in 2002 to join my husband. I have two sons. Before moving to the US, I worked as a Civil Servant for 3 Government departments. In the US, I have worked at The British Consulate General of New York, specifically for UK Visas and Immigration, where I was an Entry Clearance Officer/Immigration Officer from 2007 until 2018. In 2019, I commenced a new role as a Concierge Visa Specialist at CIBT Visas.
Connecting the world – enabling individuals to thrive and learn about different cultures, businesses, and economies to make the world a better place.
The service-learning project that addresses a local need in each student’s home country – this hits home as my own parents are from a third-world country. This is most definitely a proud moment for all when a student can give back to their own community in their home country.
To give all children around the world the same opportunity regardless of financial ability.
Empathy- Treat others with understanding, compassion, and respect. Practiced throughout my life and instilled in me, giving me the ability to be present and build interpersonal connections truly.
Family trips to Mexico. The people are super friendly and welcoming, and the country has so much culture and cuisine to offer.
I would love to visit Thailand, everything about this country appeals to me.
