Board Member

James Wei is a passionate philanthropist in education, conservation, and healthcare. James was the founder and CEO of Worldview Technology Partners, a venture capital firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has helped guide many IT and Biotech companies to success. Worldview pioneered the concept of combining patient investing with assisting startup technology companies to become global players. James pioneered business development services for startups to bridge the gap between technological innovations and gaining global market insights.

Most recently, James has spent several years sailing with his family around the world. His children have been “yacht schooled” with a curriculum best described as a “location-based, project-based, student-driven experiential” curriculum. James has been investing in progressive education initiatives worldwide and is passionate about creating thematic curriculums influenced by studies in artificial intelligence, genomics, digital media, and environmental systems.

James is a Canadian Citizen and holds a degree in Systems Design Engineering from the Univesity of Waterloo.
