Tashi Mar is THINK Global School’s IT Director. Tashi assists students and staff by providing technical support and technology integration in the classroom. He is also the point person for all things hardware, network, and mobile in each host country. With onsite logistics, it’s not only about getting our tech shipped onward or organizing airport pickups – Tashi enjoys working with students and staff to evolve their ideas into a seamless weXplore trip experience.
Prior to joining THINK Global School, Tashi spent several years working in New York City’s IT industry, primarily as a VoIP telephony engineer. He received his bachelor’s degree in information technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and is an Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America.
Tashi’s travels have taken him to over seventy countries, and he views each new locale as a chance to sample the local foodie scene or get in a game of pickup basketball — activities he loves sharing with our students.
