I sincerely can’t imagine the person I would be without growing up in Ecuador and having the unique influences that I did, just like any other person, really. But, then when I came to TGS I started questioning more what I thought was true in comparison to what other people thought was true, and really that has changed my perspective on the world a lot. The first two years at TGS I really developed more as a person and figured out more who I am and my core values. And then the second two years I really learned how I can express them and make me and the community around me the best it can be through all of these experiences and skills I have. I think art has been a great influence through my travels. I’ve really come to believe that art can change the world, really. When you see an image it changes you subliminally. You don’t always expect it to be that way. It give you a different feel, another face of everywhere you go. I’d really like to encourage people to question their inherent beliefs or even beyond because it's probably going to help you grow the most, and that is what happened to me at TGS.
